First bundle of the day with dried peony petals (from a bouquet from Adam's mom), rusty wire and rose petals I found on a walk the previous day. One bundle was buried in the ground, one was placed with rusty objects in a mason jar and left in the sun. Both pieces of fabric are hand-dyed grey raw silk.

Experiment with natural dyeing materials and methods using a simple “bundling” technique that combines non-toxic natural dyestuffs with found objects to create marks and patterns on cloth.  We will experiment with natural dye stuffs such as flower petals, food stuffs, coffee grounds and more.  Each person will go home with a bundle dyeing kit that they can use at home, as well as fabrics that can be used in art and craft projects.
